Applications are invited for the following positions in the TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE (TTO) project funded by BIRAC on contract basis. The project aims at strengthening Technology Transfer, IPR & Commercialisation activities in the various universities and institutions in the region, conduct training and capacity building programs, and strengthen TTO cluster. It is a three year project funded entirely by NBM/BIRAC and is now completing its first year. Project is initially funded for one year and subsequent release of funds will be based on performance of the TTO.

The role will be primarily to increase awareness about TIMed among university students, researchers and entrepreneurs, to ensure that a strong pipeline of new proposals iscreated and constantly renewed. TIMED is seeking professionals with in-depth knowledge in managing seed funds and investments in startups to implement and manage the TIMED Seed Funds for startups as per NIDHI scheme of Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

The candidate must develop guidelines and handle the deal structuring, term sheet negotiation and documentation independently. Candidate must be well versed with startup funding scenario and be able to advice startups for getting follow on funding from various sources.
Apart from the above, the candidate will also be part of overall financial management of TIMED by devising ways and means of revenue generation, raising grants, CSR funds etc and in making the Incubator financially self sustainable. Preferred qualification is CA/ pass Inter CA with relevant experience of at least 2 years. Those with other suitable qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
The selected candidate will be appointed on contract for a period of 1 year initially, which can be extended. The salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualification and experience.

TIMed, the first medical devices incubator in the country promoted by the SCTIMST, requires a young enthusiastic professional on its team to pursue business development activities aimed at reaching out to potential MedTech entrepreneurs and startups. A key aspect of the job will be to build strong relationships with government programs and departments dealing with the startup ecosystem.
The right candidate will need a university degree in science, engineering or business management with relevant experience in the incubators, startups, entrepreneurship promotion ecosystem.
Salary is negotiable and based on qualification and experience, will not be a constraint. The position is purely on contract basis and appointment is made by SCTIMST-TIMED which is a not-for-profit registered society.
